Artwork Lost in Fire

In July of 2016 a fire started in the middle of the night in downtown Bothell, Washington and burned down several buildings on Main Street.

This collection of paintings was hung at Leela Yoga Studio, near the heart of the fire. When Lydia called to tell me about the destruction, I was shocked and devastated. I’d been through grief before, but this kind of grief was new. All I could do was feel the loss, let go, and accept that everything in life is temporary. And keep on making art.
